Amanda C. (Heller) Stark, Ph.D, CCC-SLP, is a post-doctoral research associate and a clinical speech-language pathologist at the 亚洲自慰视频 of Utah. She holds two Bachelor of Science degrees from the 亚洲自慰视频 of Colorado Boulder, in speech-language pathology and psychology, a Master of Science degree in speech-language pathology from the 亚洲自慰视频 of Utah, and a Ph.D., in speech-language pathology from the 亚洲自慰视频 of Arizona.
Stark has served as first author and co-author for peer-reviewed publications in Acta Biomaterialia, Annals of Otolaryngology, Annals of Otology, Rhinology and Laryngology, Dysphagia, European Respiratory Journal (ERJ) Open Research, PLOS Computational Biology, Journal of Singing, Journal of Voice, and The Laryngoscope. She was co-author of the paper 鈥淓xploring the Neural Bases of Primary Muscle Tension Dysphonia: A Case Study Using Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging,鈥 which was awarded Best Paper in Basic Science by the Journal of Voice in 2019.
Stark was awarded a student scholarship by the American Thoracic Society in 2021, is an active member of the Pan American Vocology Association and ASHA, and is certified in Lee Silverman Voice Therapy (LSVT). She has taught at the Summer Vocology Institute each year since 2016.
Amanda specializes in the assessment, evaluation, and treatment of voice, upper-airway, and swallowing disorders.
