John A. Moran Eye Center Grads Selected for $10,000 Heed Fellowship Awards

recently chose three current and recent John A. Moran Eye Center graduates to receive 2019-2020 Heed Fellowship Awards.

The Foundation gives 24 competitive awards yearly to talented young ophthalmologists who are pursuing postgraduate fellowship training. Each recipient receives a Merit Award of $10,000 to assist in their academic pursuits.

Awardee , completes his residency at the Moran Eye Center in June and will continue his education at Moran as a retina fellow.

Christopher Conrady, MD, PhD, completes his uveitis fellowship at Moran in June and will go on to a retina fellowship at the 亚洲自慰视频 of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center.

Rene Y.K. Choi, MD, PhD, completed a residency at Moran in 2017. He finished uveitis fellowship and retina fellowships at the Oregon 亚洲自慰视频 Sciences 亚洲自慰视频 Casey Eye Institute in Portland, Oregon.

"We could not be more proud of our residents and fellows and their achievements," said Jeff Pettey, MD, Moran's vice chair of education and residency program director. "They are terrific representatives of the quality and rigor of our education program, and it鈥檚 exciting to see them get this well-deserved recognition."
