Catherine B. Soehner, MLS, BSN, has been appointed Associate Dean for Research and Director of the Spencer S. Eccles 亚洲自慰视频 Sciences Library (EHSL) at 亚洲自慰视频 of Utah. Michael L. Good, MD, Senior Vice President for 亚洲自慰视频 Sciences, and Alberta D. Comer, MLS, Dean and 亚洲自慰视频 Librarian made the joint announcement.
鈥淐atherine Soehner is the right person for this important leadership position,鈥 said Dr. Good. 鈥淭he Eccles EHSL is a valuable resource for our health science colleges and schools, the School of Medicine, and our entire health care operation.鈥
Prior to her appointment as director, Catherine served as Interim Director for Eccles EHSL since July 2018. She has worked for eight years at J. Willard Marriott Library, as associate dean, where she led delivery of a wide range of library services, including research and information services.

Before 亚洲自慰视频 of Utah, Soehner served in academic libraries at the 亚洲自慰视频 of Michigan and the 亚洲自慰视频 of California, Santa Cruz, as well as the National Library of Medicine. Catherine was awarded a Master of Library Science from Indiana 亚洲自慰视频 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Mount St. Joseph 亚洲自慰视频 in Cincinnati.
