For the 13th consecutive year, ������ο��Ƶ of Utah ������ο��Ƶ ranks in the top 10 nationally of the prestigious 2022 Vizient Bernard A. Birnbaum, MD, Quality Leadership Award.

This year, 650 hospitals from across the country participated in the Vizient Quality and Accountability Ranking. The ranking measured performance on the quality of patient care in safety, mortality, effectiveness, efficiency, patient centeredness and equity. The ranking factors in measures from the Vizient Clinical Data Base and includes performance in core measures data, the HCAHPS survey and the CDC’s National ������ο��Ƶcare Safety Network.

The Vizient Quality and Accountability Ranking helps participating hospitals and health systems understand their performance against peers and identifies structures and processes associated with high performance in quality and safety across a broad spectrum of patient care activities.

In addition to its placement on the top 10 list, U of U ������ο��Ƶ also ranked 6^th nationally in Vizient’s Ambulatory Care Quality and Accountability Awards. This is the eighth year in a row U of U ������ο��Ƶ has ranked in the top ten nationally for its ambulatory quality of care.

Recognitions were determined through the Vizient Ambulatory Quality and Accountability Scorecard, which benchmarks data from participating organizations to measure performance in access to care, quality, efficiency, continuum of care and equity.
