HMHI Welcomes New Clinical Faculty

HMHI is pleased to announce and welcome six new providers to Huntsman Mental ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ Institute (HMHI). These board-certified psychiatrists are prepared to deliver exceptional, patient-focused mental health care, and contribute to a safe and healing environment for patients and their families.

Because HMHI is part of a world-renowned academic health system, clinical providers are concurrently appointed as college faculty in the Department of Psychiatry and contribute to training the next generation of outstanding physicians.

Myles Antonioli, MD – Adult Inpatient ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ (HMHI Main Hospital)

 

Myles Antonioli

 Assistant Professor (Clinical), completed his general psychiatry residency at Creighton ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ and a forensic psychiatry fellowship at the ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ of Minnesota. He is also a military veteran and served in the U.S. Army for four years. His areas of interest include forensic psychiatry, correctional medicine, and treatment-resistant depression. He is board-certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Carlie M. Benson, MD – Adult Inpatient ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ (HMHI Main Hospital)

 

Carlie Benson

Dr. Carlie Benson, Instructor (Clinical), completed adult psychiatry residency with an emphasis in women’s mental health at the ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ of Utah School of Medicine and Affiliated Hospitals, and is board eligible in psychiatry. She is a Utah native and will be continuing her career as a member of the clinical adult inpatient team at the ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ of Utah Huntsman Mental ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ Institute, providing acute management and stabilization. Her clinical interests include women and reproductive mental health, resident and medical student education, and mental health integration.

Megan (Meggie) Chochol, MD – Child & Adolescent Outpatient Service (HMHI Downtown Behavioral ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ Clinic)

 

Meggie Chochol

Dr. Meggie Chochol, Assistant Professor (Clinical), completed her general Psychiatry residency at MedStar Georgetown ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ Hospital and is board certified in Psychiatry. She completed her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at Mayo Clinic where she served as Chief Resident and is board eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Chochol’s clinical interests are broad; she especially enjoys ADHD and behavior management. Her academic interests include medical education and student and physician well-being She has been recognized with multiple teaching awards. Additionally, she is interested in global health and was selected for international programs in training, which afforded her the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues in Valparaiso, Chile.

Amanda Fujiki, MD - HMHI Child and Adolescent Inpatient ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ

 

Amanda Fujiki

Amanda Fujiki, MD, Assistant Professor (Clinical), completed general psychiatry residency and ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ of Utah School of Medicine. Her areas of interest include social and emotional development in ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵren and adolescents and creating educational materials for medical students, families and caregivers. Dr. Fujiki practices clinically as an inpatient ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ and adolescent psychiatrist at the ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ's Huntsman Mental ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ Institute. She is board-certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Seth Migdalski, MD – Adult Inpatient ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ (HMHI Main Hospital) / Addiction Consult Service (ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ of Utah Hospital)

, Assistant Professor (Clinical), completed general psychiatry residency at the ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ of Oklahoma ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ Sciences Center - College of Medicine, Tulsa and is board-certified in Psychiatry. Dr. Migdalski subsequently completed his fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry at the ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ of Utah School of Medicine. His clinical interests include dual diagnosis of addiction and co-morbid psychiatric disorders, the intersection of addiction and medical commodities, and inpatient adult psychiatry.

Mixael Zirio Mustafa, MD – Adult Inpatient ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ (HMHI Main Hospital) / Addiction Consult Service (ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ of Utah Hospital)

 

Mixael Zirio

, Instructor (Clinical), completed his adult psychiatry residency at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami, FL, and his addiction psychiatry fellowship at the ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ of Utah in Salt Lake City. His clinical interests include post-traumatic stress disorder, substance use disorders, social justice and mental health, as well as education and advocacy.
