Well-Child Visits Immunization Schedule
Immunizations are important to keep your ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ healthy. Our recommended schedule below follows that of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Immunization schedules change from time to time. Your ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ’s pediatrician will notify you of any changes in the schedule or recommendations. Please bring your ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ’s immunization record to every visit in case dates need to be confirmed, new immunizations are needed, or your record needs to be updated.
General Ages for Well-Child Visits
Birth: | First Hepatitis B |
---|---|
2 months: | 1st DTaP (Diptheria, Tetanus and Pertussis (also called whooping cough)), Hib (Hemophilus influenza type B), Polio, Prevnar (pneumococcal conjugate), Rotavirus, and 2nd Hepatitis B |
4 months: | 2nd DTaP, Hib, Polio, Prevnar, Rotavirus |
6 months: | 3rd Hepatitis B, DTaP, Hib, Polio, Prevnar, Rotavirus |
12 months: | 4th Prevnar, 1st MMR (Mumps, Measles and Rubella), Varicella (chicken pox), and Hepatitis A |
15 months: | 4th DTaP and Hib |
18 months: | 2nd Hepatitis A |
4 years: | 2nd MMR and Varicella, 4th Polio, and 5th DTaP |
11-12 years: | Tdap, HPV (Human Papilloma Virus is a series of 3 shots), MCV4 (Meninogococcal vaccine). Patients should get a tetanus booster every 10 years. |
16-18 years: | MCV4 booster |
Patients should get the Influenza vaccine every year starting at 6 months of age and TdaP booster at least every 10 years.

* Please note that some ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵren will require a different schedule and we encourage a prenatal visit, especially for first time parents
