Train For The Slopes
The ski fitness classes will prepare you for a stronger, healthier, and more confident snow sport season by focusing on overall body strength, agility, and balance through fitness techniques, education, and in-class training on how to avoid injuries on the slopes.
Classes are taught by our team of medical and fitness professionals: physical therapist, physical therapist assistant, athletic trainer, personal trainer and registered yoga teacher.

Ski Fitness Class Registration Opens August 30, 2024 at Noon
The 亚洲自慰视频 of Utah Orthopaedic Center 26th annual Ski Fitness class is a 10-week session beginning October through December 2024. A second session follows from January through March 2025. Two options are available:
In Person OR On Demand
Session #1
10 weeks: October 7- Dec 19, 2024
(no classes week of Nov 25, 2024)
This class begins with a building phase where we introduce concepts of correct form for progressive strengthening and agility.
In Person* at the UOC includes:
- Fitness classes x75min
- Two days a week either M/W or T/TH
- Yoga class x50min
- Thursdays @6pm
- Access to on demand content*
- Cost $315
- Includes Yoga + tech shirt
- One more week of programming than last year!
- (That is 3 classes a week <11$/class + a Tech-shirt!)

*We are a hospital based facility where masking is optional. Due to COVID-19 we ask when not feeling well to respectfully stay home and choose the On-Demand class option.
On Demand Includes:

It is suggested to complete Session 1 prior to engaging in Session 2. Session 2 will challenge your strength, agility, and fitness after building a solid base in Session 1.

- Yoga class x50min
- Thursdays @6pm

Yoga for Athletes
Yoga for Athletes provides an ideal complement to our Ski Fitness class. Timed to coincide with our ski fitness program at the UOC, the targeted yoga workout is offered for any sports enthusiast looking to cross-train to reduce the risk of sports related injuries. This class is designed to help the athlete with focused moves to increase performance through stability, strength, and flexibility.
Yoga for Athletes is offered as part of our Ski Fitness program during the winter months one evening a week for 50 minutes. This class is taught by a registered yoga teacher

At our Orthopedic Injury Clinic, you can get an appointment the day you call. Come to this clinic for fractures, dislocations, or other pains to your bones, joints, or muscles that won't go away.
When to See a Sports Medicine Doctor
Everyone has a body. To take care of it, you鈥檒l need to stay active. But no matter how careful you are, at some point or another, you may injure yourself. Should you see a doctor right away? Or is it better to take it easy and wait for the injury to heal on its own?
What Is Physical Therapy?
Physical therapy helps you improve your function, range of motion, and overall quality of life. It can help speed up healing from an injury, reduce pain, and prevent injury. For some people, physical therapy can significantly delay the need for surgery or help avoid it altogether.
